The fire is lit
Over embers, on the sac, on the stove. Unhurried, giving every ingredient its due.
In the historic bazaar of Mudurnu
Same shop, a new craft
For more than a century this shop has never been without handwork. First the yemeni masters pressed their printing blocks here; then tailors worked with needle and thread.
7 Kapı does not exist to rebuild the past, but to keep alive the understanding it left behind.

Over embers, on the sac, on the stove. Unhurried, giving every ingredient its due.

In a copper cezve, over a slow flame — because one cup of coffee is remembered for forty years.

Local, seasonal, handmade. Placed in the middle, to be shared.
From the kitchen
We cook produce from Mudurnu and the Bolu highlands with the patience of the fire. The menu breathes with the seasons.
